Polka Dot Market Isaiah 43:1 Project

Polka Dot Market

When I had my business, I was asked to do the Muscular Dystrophy Lock Up here in town. If you don't know what that is, it's where local business leaders are "locked up" for good. During the lock up, you raise money by getting bail money to get out of jail. I thoroughly enjoyed this and it was super close to my heart as a childhood friend had passed away from Muscular Dystrophy several years prior to this. I felt a calling to make my business a ministry. I did campaigns for St. Jude's and other families that were living what we were living. There is nothing worse it seems than seeing your child sick.

While my kids had been sick since their birth, little did I know that within several months my oldest son, Noah, would be diagnosed with Mitochondrial Disease. Mito is a neuromuscular disease that is a part of the Muscular Dystrophy umbrella. Like the Autistic spectrum, the
mito spectrum is very broad. You can have very mild symptoms or they can be fatal. Typically the earlier the onset, the more severe the symptoms are. Just last
October, my other son, Jonah, and myself were also diagnosed with this disease. There is no prognosis, no cure, and very few effective treatments.

So, when I came across her blog and found she was making her business her ministry, I was immediately led to post this.

I think these shirts are so darn cute. They have already selected their first family and I am hoping my business in Web Design will be able to help with her effort to make a difference!

Kim's Classy Creations

Kim's Classy Creations is a boutique of wonderfuls! Her selection is incredible. She offers nice quality embroidery and has just recently started offering vinyl products. Her prices are what make her exceptional. She is highly affordable so that everyone can afford her unique and personalized gifts. These buckets (starting at $28.00 including monogramming!) are my favorite right now. Valentine's Day is just a MONTH away! Can you believe that?? These buckets make the perfect container for collecting all those valentines and candies. Not to mention that Easter will be here before we know it and these make excellent Easter buckets. I bought these for my boys for Halloween a couple of years ago and they have held up great. The quality is super nice. Again, this is just one of the many cute products she has to offer. Stop by and take a look. I promise, you won't be disappointed!

Welcome to my BLOG!!

As the former owner of a monogramming boutique, I LOVE all things monogrammed.

While I owned my business, I had the pleasure of working with several bloggers to bring giveaways to readers and actually made a couple of blogs for exceeding my customer's expectations.

I value quality work and I enjoy seeing the constant new creations. My mind is always spinning even though my business has been sold for over a year. I find myself in a store and wondering if I can make that or thinking how popular this would be if I added that to it.

So, I thought it would be nice for fellow lovers of monogramming and all things personal to have a one stop shop to find great boutiques.

My hope for this blog is to one day get to a point to where we can also have giveaways, offer advertising, and so much more. I would love to exchange banners with you. If I choose your blog, I will provide you with a banner to include on your site that links back to mine so that your customers can see that you were recognized by me.

I look forward to window shopping and sharing my finds with you! I'm always interested in what other folks think is great, so if you have a site you'd like to share--please LET ME KNOW!! :)
